CAE Credit

Annual Meeting registrants will earn 6 hours toward certification or renewal as a Certified Association Executive (CAE). Please keep copies of your confirmation letters from the Forum so you'll have a record of your attendance.

Conference Scholarships

The Association Forum Foundation is offering three scholarships to the Annual Meeting. For eligibility requirements, contact Lea Rucker at (312) 924-7000. Application deadline is June 6, 2008.

Directions to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center

The Donald E. Stephens Convention Center is located at 5555 North River Rd. in Rosemont, just south of the Kennedy Expressway and east of Chicago O'Hare International Airport and the Tri-State Tollway (I-294).

Parking

Parking is available across from the Center, directly behind the Embassy Suites Hotel. Garage parking is $11. Handicapped spaces are located at the main parking lot behind the Embassy Suites Hotel, accessible to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center through the elevated walkway.

Driving Directions

Traveling from Milwaukee on I-294 South and from Rockford on I-90 East

Exit at O'Hare (I-190 West), pay toll, exit Mannheim Rd. south. Proceed in right lane, re-enter east to Chicago I-190, proceed 1 mile, exit River Rd. south. Convention Center is on the left.

Traveling from Indiana on I-294 North

Exit O'Hare/River Rd. (I-190 West), pay toll. Exit left after toll plaza to River Rd. Turn right at River Rd. Convention Center is approximately 3 blocks on the left.

Traveling from Chicago on the Kennedy (I-90)

Exit O'Hare (I-190 West), exit River Rd., turn right at River Rd. The Convention Center is approximately 2 blocks on the left.

Public Transportation

Take the CTA Blue Line (Congress/O'Hare–Douglas/O'Hare) "L" to the Rosemont/River Road station. The Convention Center is a short walk from the station. When you exit the station, turn left and walk to River Road. Turn left again and cross under the overpass. You will see the Convention Center on the east side of River Road.
